Pricing questions
How is a managed resource counted?
A managed resource is one tracked in your state by Terrain. You are billed on the resources under management over the billing period, not on runs or seats.
Is the Registry really free?
Yes, free during early access. We will give plenty of notice before any pricing change, and early teams will be looked after.
Do runs or drift checks cost extra?
No. Drift control and plan/apply runs are included in the per-resource price. There is no separate run fee or per-seat charge.
When is Kubernetes pricing set?
Closer to launch. The goal is to come in clearly below EKS, GKE, and AKS for comparable capacity, on better hardware.
